Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician from Mexico, was born to an adored family of musicians. She was raised listening to traditional and old boleros, as well as classic romantic songs and the Ranchero style. Ana enjoys tangos operas and other dramatic performances. Ana began learning to sing and play music in the early years with her mother. She was given more formal singing instruction when she reached the age of 16 old with the renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. Her music training continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Then, she enrolled in an institution called the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. As a student and being a young professional in Mexico City and Guadalajara she was a member of several chamber ensembles and choruses. When she moved from Mexico to the United States in 2000, she sang for the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She currently performs traditional Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. as a music teacher and musician, she is committed to many projects in the community because of her love and love for music. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana is privileged to have the opportunity to be able to share her love for traditional Latin American music. She hopes this can encourage younger generations to preserve the traditions.
